Who we are
This website is run by Goldilox Limited ("Goldilox", "we", "us"), The Express Building, 9 Great Ancoats St, Manchester, M4 5AD, United Kingdom. We decide how the personal details described here are used. For anything about your data, email alex@goldilox.zone.
What we collect
- When you apply: your name, email address and mobile number, plus your age, where you want to start and your Instagram handle if you give them.
- When you sign up for a free training or guide: your name and email address.
- When you message us on WhatsApp: whatever you send us there. WhatsApp handles those messages under its own privacy policy.
We don't use analytics or advertising cookies on this website, and we don't track you across other sites.
Why we use it
- Applications: to read your application and reply to it, as a step you've asked us to take before you join.
- Free trainings and guides: to send you what you signed up for, with your consent. You can unsubscribe from any email.
We never sell your details, and we don't make automated decisions about you.
Who else handles it
Only Alex reads applications. A few companies process details on our behalf to make this possible:
- Netlify hosts this website and receives the application form.
- Microsoft runs our email (Microsoft 365), where applications arrive.
- EmailOctopus runs our email sign-ups for free trainings and guides.
- YouTube and Calendly show videos and booking calendars on some pages. They may set their own cookies when you play a video or use the calendar.
Some of these companies store data outside the UK. Where they do, they use the legal safeguards UK data protection law requires.
How long we keep it
- Applications: deleted within 7 days of reaching us, from our inbox and from our website provider.
- Email sign-ups: until you unsubscribe.
- If you join the program, we keep what we need to work with you, as set out in our client terms.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, object to or restrict how we use them, and withdraw consent at any time. Email alex@goldilox.zone and we'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
